ALLEN Twin Creeks Golf Club
A large pond and Rowlett Creek offer hazards on this rolling course. ARLINGTON Chester Ditto Municipal Golf Course
The front nine is fairly wide open, but the back nine is quite tight. BURLESON Hidden Creek Gold Course
Sand traps and thick tree lines add interest to this predominantly level
course. CARROLLTON Indian Creek Golf Club: Creeks
Course Traditional appearance, tighter layout, bermuda greens.
Indian Trail Indian Creek Golf Club: Lakes
Open design, bentgrass greens COPPELL River Chase Golf Club Course
Plays tight with water hazards on almost every hole. Bentgrass greens. CRANDALL Creekview Golf Club Tree-lined
creekbeds, water hazards, sand traps and rolling terrain make a challenging course. DALLAS Cedar Crest Part of golf
history, this course is renovated and slightly changed since 1927. A trip to the past. L B Houston Municipal Golf Course
A relatively flat course that is somewhat boring. If you play in summer, tee off early
as mosquitoes swarm at dusk. Stevens Park Golf Course This
short course with very small greens is beautiful and has some spectacular views of the
Dallas skyline. Definitely worth playing with an interesting 18th hole. Tenison Park East Water
on about one-half of holes.
DENTON Oakmont Country Club DFW AIRPORT Hyatt Bear Creek Golf & Racquet
Club: East This resort course features tighter fairways and smaller greens than
its twin. Both Hyatt courses are good bets when you are in the airport area. Hyatt Bear Creek Golf and Racquet
Club: West This resort course, located at DFW Airport is slightly rolling. Call
for playing privileges. EULESS The Gold Course at Texas Star This rolling country setting has a course rating of 73.6 and a slope
of 135. Euless resident rates are $9-$10 less than non-resident rates quoted. Soft spikes.
FORT WORTH Fossil Creek Golf Club Rolling
hills, limestone creeks and bluffs, and beautifully wooded describe this well-maintained,
bentgrass greens course. GARLAND Firewheel Golf Park: Lakes Course
Water hazards on over one-half the course Firewheel Golf Park: Old Course
Rolling, wooded terrain with classic design. GRAND PRAIRIE Riverside Golf Club This
quite challenging course features two island greens but is subject to Trinity River
flooding. LEWISVILLE Bridlewood Golf Club Somewhat
rolling terrain. Bentgrass greens require use of soft spikes. MIDLOTHIAN Pecan Trail This southern
suburb course offers a good value for your golfing money. NORTH RICHLAND HILLS Iron Horse Golf Club Water
hazards on 2/3's of holes and other challenges make this one of area's hardest courses.
Halfway house is an old train car from whence comes its name! PLANO Chase Oaks Gold Club: Blackjack 18
Consistently ranked among the best courses in Texas, Blackjack 18 is challenging to
even the best golfer. Chase Oaks Golf Club: Sawtooth 9
This nine-hole course supports the reputation Devlin and von Hagge have for laying out
demanding courses. ROCKWALL Buffalo Creek Golf Club A
challenging course to say the least! |
