So you want to join an ecovillage housing community?

At times that is easier said than done.

One reason is there are not many actual ecovillages to join.

There are multiple start-up groups who hope to build an ecovillage "some day." Actually, that some day, for whatever reason, rarely comes. 

The other reason is that many start that are never completed. This adds to the risk of both time and money invested in cohousing communities.

Now that more ecovillages and cohousing communities are developer-driven, however, the scenario will change.

There are several ecovillages forming in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The following have land:

Intergenerational 
White Rock Lake, Dallas

Eagle Mountain Lake, Azle

Retirement
Duncanville/Cedar Hill

West Fort Worth
