Why do we have a survey?

The survey is a research tool that is compiled, then guides us in: 
1. Planning meeting locations.
2. Seeking land in Oak Cliff
3. Knowing what people seek in their own personal lives and ideal communities.

It also adds you to our mailing list for invitations to our meetings and new information regarding ecovillage/cohousing in the Oak Cliff or other areas.

We live in a world in which relationships are the basic building blocks of life. We have allowed the suburban way of life to endanger one of life's easiest and longest lasting relationship--the relationship that exists between neighbors. The Fort Worth Village is an intergenerational group of congenial and earth-friendly people who wish to be neighbors in Fort Worth. We are growing an intentional neighborhood in an ecovillage setting.

Our organizational meeting was June 16 in Fort Worth. At that meeting we decided the best time to meet for both business meetings and socials as the 2nd and 4th Saturday,  late afternoon. We will sometimes have speaker meetings and/or socials on these or other dates.

Fort Worth Village is being planned by the residents and will be developed and built by the green building firm of AndersonSargent.
