Yep, there is no doubt that TXU is in the driver's seat. It's a monthly race than ends with your pocketbook!

Much as we might want to save money on our utility bills and live in a healthy, green home,  most of us can not move to a new, energy-efficient home. And even if we could move, our planet can not afford the resources and embodied energy needed to build everyone a new home or apartment.

It is immensely more green to remodel than it is to move to a new home.....

Will a home that is remodeled to be energy-efficient have the high degree of energy efficiency that a new home--built to utmost standards of energy efficiency--has?

Probably not. However, a good consultant can have your present home remodeled to such high standards of energy efficiency that it is a wise move to remodel.

What we do need, though, is remodel our older homes and apartments to be energy-efficient and healthy. Yet, there is a lot of confusion about where to practically spend home-remodeling money.

Let's sort it out with the help of this website.
