Located at the junction of Waxahachie and Red
Oak in Ellis County, this truly green village will consist of seven communities.
Each community will feature 30-40
moderately priced and energy-efficient homes built around their own community house in the concept of a village green.
In addition to open space in each community, many of the total 75 acres of Hidden Lake Village, as well as Hidden
Lake itself, will be placed in a conservation easement for all residents to use and enjoy.
Since 1992, a growing number of North Americans have built communities
which balance interaction and community with privacy and independence. These projects are
governed by residents and create a community of friends and neighbors, something

only; some communities are intergenerational, family communities, including families,

and single parents of all ages. Each community is self-governed with its own
