Why do we have a survey?
The survey is a
research tool that is compiled, then guides us in:
1. Planning meeting locations.
2. Seeking land in Oak Cliff
3. Knowing what people seek in their own personal lives and ideal
communities.
It also adds you to our mailing list for invitations to our meetings and new information regarding ecovillage/cohousing in the Oak Cliff or other areas.

In a time when relationships are harder and harder to build and maintain, our suburban way of life has endangered one of life's easiest and longest lasting relationship--the relationship that exists between neighbors. The Mid-Cities Village is an intergenerational group of congenial and earth-friendly people who wish to be neighbors in the area around DFW Airport. We are growing an intentional neighborhood in an ecovillage setting.
We normally meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays in the communities surrounding the airport. We sometimes have speaker meetings and/or socials on these or other dates.
Mid-Cities Village, an urban ecovillage, is being planned by the residents and will be developed and built by the green building firm of To Be Green. Facilitation and project management will be by DFW Urban Ecovillages..
Writing for Communities Magazine, Linda Joseph and Albert Bates said, "We stand at the junction between two millennia; the past one about building societies that ran on fossil sunlight and militarism. The next one, still a mystery, has to be more consciencious and humane or we won't survive."
