Mid-Cities Vegetarian and Vegan News

Two featured Mid-Cities restaurants in the mid-suburban area of Dallas-Fort Worth:

Thai Papaya Garden This vegetarian-friendly easy-to-find restaurant will make the majority of the menu vegan for you if you ask for strict vegetarian with tofu. It never hurts to ask your waitperson to cut the fish and oyster sauce in a Thai restaurant, though. Chef is vegetarian-knowledgeable as she hosts a monthly all-vegetarian buffet the first Sunday of each month from 11:30 am until 2 pm. This is some of the best Thai food in the metroplex. 1201 W. Airport Frwy #100 at Hwy 157, facing Hwy 157 (Industrial), Euless. 817 684-9378 Thai $-$$

Joe's Pizza, Pasta, Subs Plain jane décor with pizza and several vegetarian pasta options. Egg in pasta? Young counter help says "no" but anything is possible.
