Creamy Vegan Dessert Topping

| 3/4 cup water 1/4 cup sweetener of your choice 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 cup cashews or walnuts 1/4 cup flour (white flour makes white topping) 1/2 cup water |
Process top six ingredients in blender until smooth.
Empty this into sauce pan. Rinse blender with 1/2 cup water; add to pan. Simmer, stirring almost constantly, until thickened. Chill before serving. |
